What I wish I knew
There's a better place to look for answers. Here's a great way
to find the information you need from those who know best.
Q: Are there simple ways to ease my PMS symptoms?
A: Yes. You can start with a balanced diet including plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables,
and cut back on processed foods like chips and crackers. Reducing your salt intake and drinking
more water are also great ideas. Finally, try to exercise every day and learn some stress-relief
techniques like meditation, for example.
Q: Do other women experience the insecurity that comes with bad hygiene days?
A: As sure as the sun rises in the morning, you can bet your friends are experiencing the same
feelings. So how do you keep these days under control? One way is to use Summer's Eve Feminine
Deodorant Spray. You'll feel fresher, and it'll show.
Q: Is it normal to experience discharge or odor?
A: Vaginal discharge and smell is considered a major problem by many women. But actually
it's during the normal discharge process that the vagina cleanses itself. However, if smell and discharge become an issue for you,
try following these helpful tips:
Always wipe from front to back.
Keep Summer's Eve Cleansing Cloths or Feminine Deodorant Spray with you to help control odor when you're on the go.
If your vaginal discharge is of an unusual amount, color or odor, see a doctor right away.
Q: Should I make a regular appointment to see a doctor?
A: YES. It's very important to find a doctor you're comfortable with, and make regular appointments.
We know the idea of seeing a gynecologist may seem a little scary, but it's vital to maintaining good
health and hygiene. So if you haven't yet, make an appointment today!

Perception vs. Truth
Sometimes teens and young women hear things from friends or read
information online that isn't exactly accurate. We've compiled some
of the most common misconceptions and added ways that you can help clear the air.
PERCEPTION:
People can tell if you're on your period.
TRUTH:
Unless your daughter's friends are psychic, there's
little chance that they know when she is menstruating.
Just let your daughter know that her friends are
experiencing the same issues as she and it's perfectly
natural and normal.
PERCEPTION:
It's very important to take care of your body inside and out.
TRUTH:
We couldn't agree more. Not only is it good for general health, but
it can do wonders for a young lady's self esteem. Tell her to eat
healthy foods, use safe and gentle products, and get plenty of rest.
PERCEPTION:
Using soap is perfectly fine for cleansing your vaginal area.
TRUTH:
Use of soap in that area can occasionally cause irritation and could
potentially affect vaginal health. Summer's Eve Feminine Wash is formulated
not to be irritating, even when used on your vaginal area.
I've been told not to be embarrassed about feminine hygiene.
TRUTH:
Why should she be embarrassed about something 100% of the female population
deals with? Just let her know that there's absolutely nothing to feel embarrassed
about. Again, the keys to maintaining good hygiene are simple. Use the right products,
drink lots of water and get plenty of rest.
